Ubuntu (ùɓúntʼù) - Humanity to others

Ubuntu is an ancient African word meaning “Humanity to others”. It is often used to remind us that “I am what I am because of who we all are”

Being born in Namibia, Africa and having had the privilege to grow up in this beautiful country and on this wonderfully diverse continent. I aim to embrace the philosophy of ubuntu in life and do so through supporting organisations, initiatives, and causes that are close to my heart.

This is not something that one starts and ends, it is a lifelong journey that is one of the world’s best teachers, of humility, compassion, struggle, joy, love, sacrifice, energy and achievement.

It shows us what even the smallest of gestures can achieve with a touch of care.
